This is even more true if we reflect on the fact that disability is first and foremost a related phenomenon: a person may be considered disabled according to how the company lives the ability of an individual, and depending on the barriers, physical, mental and cultural that it creates or breaks down".

To help these children and raise awareness among the general public, was born the campaign of the solidarity of Dokita Onlus "All the Same" that from 5 to 26 January 2020 will contribute with a text message or call to the number supportive 45580. The funds collected will be used to strengthen the activities of the centres of the ngo in Cameroon. In particular, it will enhance the centre of care and support for disabled children, the Foyer de l'esperance in Sangmélima, in the South of the Country, established in 1982, currently has hosted 50 children and adolescents, orphans, in conditions of particular vulnerability, and suffering from motor disabilities. In addition, part of the funds will be allocated to the improvement of the activities of assistance and support to disabled children in the three centres from cameroon, to enhance the reconnaissance and monitoring of the rural areas surrounding and continue to support the activities of rehabilitation physiotherapy.

In 1974, dies Clemente Maino, and a few years later, in 1983, a group of lay volunteers who, giving himself the name of Dokita in his honor, they decided to continue the work of protection of fundamental human rights that he began in Cameroon. In 1988 that group of volunteers gives life to the Associazione volontari Dokita onlus, which since 1991 and carries out activities of development cooperation.
