A painting by the French impressionist Claude Monet has achieved in the USA, a record price. In the case of an auction the auction house Sotheby's it was held on Tuesday for 110,7 million dollars to a new owner.
This is the highest sum ever paid for a work by Monet. The painting belongs to a series of 23 pictures, Monet haystack in a constantly changing light. The value obtained is one of the ten highest prices ever achieved for such an auction.
