Tomorrow, Saturday's return of the 'Enclave de Sol Costa de Almeria Festival' to Plaza Vieja

The Patio del Mandarino was located on one of Almeria's sides. It hosted the presentation of the IV Edition of the "Enclave de Sol Costa de Almeria" Festival by Manuel Guzman (deputy for Culture and Cinema), Diego Cruz, the City Councilor, and Pedro Martinez, representatives of Almenara Group.

On Saturday, July 2, at 8:30 p.m., hundreds of Almeria residents can enjoy a concert by Almenara Group, and Toledo group Candela y Son. Boleros and Latin American music are the main protagonists. Tickets are available for 12 euros at the Teatro Apolo ticket office or through the Culture website.

Manuel Guzman, the deputy for Culture, stated that the festival is back with all its enthusiasm after the pandemic. "We present the fourth festival Enclave de Sol Costa De Almeria" that returns in a long-awaited manner. It is the most important festival of polyphonic music in Almeria. The Almenara Group, particularly Pedro Martinez and Alberto Fernandez, made this concert possible. They have helped to bring back the historic musical style under the Plaza Vieja canopy>>.

Diego Cruz, Almeria City Council's Councilor for Culture and Education, said that Enclave de Sol was a project that had carved a niche in the cultural program of Almeria. He added that Enclave de Sol had its premiere in 2017, and three previous editions, which were cut short due to the pandemic. This is his return after two years. I believe that this alone should be reason to celebrate.

He also mentioned that the Area's programming tried to cover as many musical genres as possible throughout the year. This Enclave de Sol, which we developed with Diputacion, is an excellent way to enjoy Latin American songs, boleros, and complete cycles.

Alberto Fernandez from the Almenara Group highlighted the fact that "a third" of the proceeds will go to Unicef's social activities. Although we are from South American music and bolero, we also make music in other styles. This is music that the world already knows such as swing and pop. Candelas y Son is a similar formation to ours, but with a touch more humor that will make it a special edition>>
