Mancha Real's imAginaTeatro is the first Andalusian band to win a Buero award

Even the most impossible dreams can come true. It stars Ana Jimenez, and has the technical collaboration of Maria Cifuentes.

These awards are often compared to the National Prize for Young Theater and are the highest honor a school theatre company can receive. David Salmeron (director of imAginaTeatro), is also a professor in Language and Literature and Performing Arts. He can't hide his emotions on the other end, and it isn't for less. "Reflejo" is a ten minute work that was inspired by Don Juan Tenorio. It is based on Rodrigo de la Calva's text and Belen Santa Olalla's review of the classic. David Salmeron says that these are fragments in which Luis Mejia and Juan Tenorio boast about the women they have conquered. However, it is a female version. In contrast to Santa-Olalla or de la Calva, the dialogue between two women is in "Reflejo". Ana Jimenez plays both roles in one take. This allows for the costumes and decorations to be changed live without any cuts. Maria Cifuentes is the oldest student of the imAginaTeatro Group. This stage-level challenge requires precision. The theater is more than just going out and performing, it is all about the work that goes into making it happen. Cifuentes says that the team has decided that the three of them will go out to collect their award. She is passionate about this art so much that even if she did not go to the University of Jaen to study Biology as she had hoped, she would still be connected to her high school group.

It is because the theater gave him the tools to overcome stage fright and other personal challenges. Ana Jimenez, who wants to study a double degree of Primary Education and Pedagogy at Madrid, also believes that this has helped him. Both of them are strong and their talents are now recognized nationwide.
