Kanye West's girlfriend Julia Fox discusses Kim Kardashian comparisons: "It's unfortunate."

Julia Fox opens up about her new relationship to Kanye West. She also discusses how it feels to be compared with his estranged wife Kim Kardashian.

Fox is featured on "Call Her Daddy", where she discusses her criminal past, her time as a dominatrix and how her unexpected relationship with the 44-year old rapper. Fox stressed that she is not new to mingling in public with celebrities.

"I was raised in New York City. I grew up surrounded by celebrities. I feel that I have earned my place in the spotlight. Although I don't have the same fame as West and Kardashian, I feel like I did my best and can hang," Fox stated.

The most popular thing that eagle-eyed followers have spotted are the looks Fox has worn in the years since West's public announcement. Like Kardashian, she's worn Balenciaga and all-black outfits. She wrote an essay about her first date to West. The rapper provided racks of designer clothes for her to select from during their outings.

"Well, we have worn similar looks that I knew she was wearing at the time...But I thought it cool that she was wearing it. Fox, 32, stated that it is sad because women are always being pitted against one another.

The mother-of-one said that she isn't trying to be like Kardashian.

She said, "Obviously there are 10 years of history they have before me, and I don’t want to ever speak on anything that I don’t belong speaking on." "It's my opinion that the conversation should be: wow, it's amazing to witness how much Kim was influenced by Kanye. That's what I think is the case. But, people are willing to go with the worse narrative and make people feel bad.

Fox revealed that she owned her own fashion label before becoming an actress. She said that products from her line were sold at the Dash stores of the Kardashians and even worn years ago by famous sisters.

"I have my own history of fashion." She said that her new style was not something she had just "plucked out of nowhere."

Fox shared with us that they have titles attached to their relationship. Fox revealed that she calls him her boyfriend while he calls her his girlfriend.

After receiving her number through a mutual friend, she said West first called her by telephone.

Fox stated that she was instantly attracted to West’s "vibe," and further explained that West has a "very special, unique, one-of-a kind energy."

The Tuesday night episode was released just days after West blasted his ex-wife for allowing North, their 8-year old daughter, to use Tik Tok. Kardashian was also criticized for claiming he had a hit on them. He has since deleted all social media posts that Kardashian posted about him. On Wednesday morning, he prayed to God for a reunification of his wife, four children, and him.

Many speculate that West's romance with Fox may be love bombing. However, the actress slammed this idea.

Fox stated, "Because his motives aren't shady." Fox said, "He isn't trying to keep me... He wants me to be my best self." This conversation is about how I will live up to my potential. I find that amazing.

She also addressed her night with Madonna and West, saying that it was her idea and not West’s.

Kanye was invited to the dinner I set up. She said that while it appears a certain way to the outside world, people don't see the conversations going on behind the scenes.
