EuroDreams, this new European lottery which offers to win up to 20,000 euros per month for 30 years

EuroMillions now has a little brother, and this one can be very generous. This Friday, Française des jeux (FDJ) and eight European lotteries announced the launch of a new game, aiming to make its winners annuitants for several decades. A tempting promise, twenty years after the launch of the famous European draw, which recently resulted in a French man or woman winning more than 130 million euros.

Called EuroDreams, this new game, which costs 2.5 euros, will allow you to check six numbers, chosen from a total of forty-one, as well as an additional number. Winnings will be calculated based on the number of numbers found. In detail, the luckiest, who will have the six numbers as well as the additional one, will receive 20,000 euros per month for 30 years, or 7.2 million euros in total. However, the probabilities are dizzying, since there is only one chance in 19,191,900 of finding the right combination. Then, those who have six numbers without the supplement will receive 2,000 euros per month for five years, or 120,000 euros. The winnings then go down to 2.5 euros, for those who have at least two numbers.

Game takings will take place from Monday October 30, online, on the FDJ application and at its points of sale. The first draw will take place the following Monday, November 6. Thereafter, two draws will take place per week, “on Monday and Thursday”. Players will be able to validate a grid until 8:15 p.m., and the result will be known “around 9 p.m.”.

For this new game, France is joining forces with Spain, Belgium, Austria, Portugal, Ireland, Switzerland and Luxembourg. “FDJ will be responsible for the draws for the entire EuroDreams community. These will be produced electronically and revealed via a unique 3D virtual animation,” specifies the company. Quoted in the press release, the group's CEO, Stéphane Pallez, welcomes a “major event” for his teams. “We are very proud to offer our customers a new game with a European dimension, twenty years after the creation of Euromillions,” she declares. The FDJ will also support the big winners, “at the time of payment, then collective support, optional and free, for a minimum period of five years”. Place your bets !
