Sieg De Doncker & Olga Leyers traveled around The world with 80-year-olds’: 't Was all a bit slower, yes. And yet appeared to be often adolescents

TV They had their grandchildren, but from tonight, Olga Leyers (21) and Sieg De Doncker (29) the tour leaders of a motley bunch of 80-somethings. In 36 days they did together eight countries and four continents. "Our guests had their age, and so we had us what to adjust. But on the other hand, appeared to often be adolescents. So excited were they."

They have the largest part of their life behind the back. But the eight participants in the "around The world" with 80-year-olds had, until the morning that they are on their tv adventure started, not or hardly traveled. A trip to Ostend, Barcelona or Nice, disregarded. With Sieg and Olga as compagnons de route, had they an unforgettable trip around the world and flew them from the US and Mexico to Iceland, then to go to Dubai, South Africa, Thailand, Mongolia and Japan. Good for a trip of 36 days, spread over four continents. In each country, was one 80-something also treated to an extra surprise. "It's been a while since we our trip around the world have done, but I continue to think," says Sieg. "It was a unique experience that I for the rest of my life go carry and cherish. Those old people were all wonderful people. Not for nothing we keep after all these months still in touch with each other."
