On January 25, started Kanye West filed a lawsuit against his former record label Roc-A-Fella Records in connection with delinquent payments. Roc-A-Fella Records was once owned by rapper Jay-Z, but sold his shares in 2004. The two rappers met each other in the beginning of the years 2000 know at Roc-A-Fella Records. Kanye had a contract as the producer of Jay-Z, but asked to serve also as a rapper in the battle to be allowed to go.
