Three months after the last minute cancellation of his concert at the Grand Rex in Paris and the sudden end of his tour for “medical reasons”, Salvatore Adamo fans expected to find him on stage during the rescheduled dates this this month. But the singer will not be back until May 5 in Mons, he announced on Facebook Monday January 8.

These are not the singer's first health problems. Indeed, at the end of October, his manager Virginie Borgeaud-Bigot reported that he was “suffering” but that his condition was “not serious”. According to his details, the 80-year-old singer had undergone various medical examinations following the “stress” caused by his song Inch'Allah, due to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

While indicating that he was very “in a hurry to return to the stage” but that he had to “be patient”, Salvatore Adamo clarified that he was working on his next album. “I’ve already recorded some of the vocals for my new album,” he said. The singer also apologized to his fans for the cancellation of his previous tour: “I am sorry for the inconvenience of travel cancellations and others that I may have caused you.
