Napoleon, Joan of Arc, De Gaulle, Belmondo or Platini... Who are the 30 greatest French people of all time?

Everyone has already asked themselves the question: who is the greatest Frenchman of all time? Is he a statesman? Military ? A writer ? Or maybe a scientist... Is it one of our contemporaries or a historical figure? What if it was a woman?

Le Figaro has decided to settle the question subjectively in a new broadcast. To establish this impossible classification, Thibaut Gauthier drew from among the journalists of Le Figaro to bring together the best connoisseurs of French History with Vincent Trémolet de Villers, deputy editorial director, Jean-Christophe Buisson, deputy editorial director of Le Figaro Magazine, and Geoffroy Caillet, editor-in-chief of Figaro Histoire.

Their mission is simple: draw 50 preselected names, give their opinion on the career or work of these illustrious French people and classify them to arrive at the final list. Napoleon, De Gaulle or Joan of Arc are favorites, but can Louis XIV, Saint-Exupéry, Marie Curie or Voltaire create a surprise? Expertise, anecdotes and bad faith are present in this program. And, above all, don't hesitate to share your top 30 in the comments.
