Feuilleman, the fake film by Pierre Niney, will become a real one with McFly and Carlito

At first it was just a joke. Comedian Pierre Niney is adapting his superhero idea Feuilleman into a feature film, alongside youtubers McFly and Carlito. The real fake character was born during a phone prank, broadcast on the videographers' YouTube channel.

"They did it," wrote the Prime Video platform, which will produce the feature film, on its Twitter account. Still according to the platform, the film would be in development.

A year ago, another YouTube channel, devoted to cinema and called Popcorn, aired an interview with the actor. In this video, Pierre Niney announced that he had already started writing a screenplay for Feuilleman.

The idea was born from an improvisation by the actor on the phone with a French cinema production manager. In this video ("We call random people with Pierre Niney and promise we haven't smoked anything before"), the actor and the two videographers were engaged in prank calls.

After several false calls, Pierre Niney had finally submitted his superhero idea to the producer. The video, broadcast on the channel of the two videographers, had gone viral on social networks.

Several Internet users, enthusiastic about the idea, had taken up the concept invented by the actor. Trailers and false posters of Feuilleman had flourished on the internet. This time, the fake superhero will become a real one.
