Dune 2, still at the top of the French box office, is approaching 3 million admissions

Three weeks after its release, Dune 2, directed by Denis Villeneuve, continues to attract French audiences. The film remains at the top of the French box office, with nearly three million admissions in total, according to CBO Box-Office figures published on Wednesday. In total, the feature film has 2,945,105 entries. A Life of James Hawes remains in second place. And There's Still Tomorrow by Paola Cortellesi snatches third place on the podium.

The 2h46 long sci-fi blockbuster continues to captivate audiences with an epic saga, where powerful factions fight to the death on the desert planet Dune for control of the spice, the most precious resource in the universe. In this new part, the public finds Paul Atreides, played by Timothée Chalamet. The young man joins forces with the character of Chani, played by Zendaya, and the Fremen to lead the revolt against those who destroyed his family. Haunted by dark premonitions, the hero finds himself confronted with the greatest of dilemmas: choosing between the love of his life and the destiny of the universe.
