Agnetha, one of the singers of ABBA, returns with a new single

A miracle that fans no longer believed in! And yet, the Swedish Agnetha Faltskog, singer of ABBA, will unveil a single on Thursday as a solo artist, two years after the release of a last album by the legendary pop group.

“Where Do We Go From Here world premieres on BBC2 radio on Thursday,” the 73-year-old artist wrote in an Instagram post. In the acronym ABBA, Falstskog and Anni-Frid Lyngstad represented the two A's, alongside the two B's, Bjorn Ulvaeus and Benny Andersson.

The singer had aroused curiosity last week by publishing a first post on Instagram: Where Do We Go From Here, without further comment. Agnetha Faltskog pursued a solo career after the de facto separation from the Swedish quartet at the end of 1982, releasing several albums, including the last A in 2013.

ABBA reformed in September 2021 for the release of an album and a hologram show. The four friends met at the end of the 1960s and began global success after their triumph at Eurovision 1974 with their first hit Waterloo.

In April 2018, the ex-group revealed that they had returned to the studio for the first time in nearly four decades. This return materialized with the release of a Voyage album in September 2021 and ABBA Voyage, a show by the Swedish quartet's digital avatars a few months later.
