The carnage continues in the United States. In recent years, many hip-hop stars have been shot or disappeared in disturbing circumstances. The latest is called Young Capone. This 35-year-old rapper disappeared a month ago. This week, his spokesperson Aleesha Carter announced his death on Instagram: "It is with a heavy and heavy heart that I post this. We did magic when we strategically set up projects. Young Capone aka Dopeboy Ra aka Rara was one of my first Hip-Hop/Rap clients, and I can't believe the news I just received of his unexpected passing! The reasons for his disappearance and the causes of his death have not been disclosed.
Young Capone, real name Rodriguez Smith, was originally from Atlanta. He began his career in the 2000s and rose to prominence in 2006 with his title Lights, Camera, Action. Jermaine Dupri, famous American producer and president of the So So Def Recordings label, had quickly taken him under his wing to produce several of his albums. Shortly after 2010, the artist decided to change his name to become Dopeboy Ra. Since then, he had remained very prolific, releasing numerous projects until 2022.
