The most absurd sign of Belgium is in Leuven, but there is a reason for

Leuven Since a few days there at the English Square at the Leuven Vaartkom a very remarkable sign. How such an absurd combination of signs in the town to go? I learned that it is a part of an experimental art project, organised by the artists collective LAB.

“It is a work of art by Peter van Eyck and the stresses that we, as individuals, are always their own choice,” says Ine Lammers, founder of LAB, an experimental art platform at the in Leuven. “We do not necessarily herd-mentality to show, but we have, at all times the choice to all directions to go, or to just a different direction. We want both young and established artists a platform to be inspired by the environment. We have a walk of one hour, beginning at the new lodge at OPEK, with on the route, works of art by artists from all over Flanders.”
