Jubilant motorhistoriker fighting for the rolling veterans

We are not talking here about the dust-collecting vehicles in museums around the empire. No, the MHRF and other organisations want to show that these cars, motorcycles, trucks, buses, tractors, and other rolling and remind of how it looked before on the streets and roads.

Jan Tägt, the federation's secretary-general, talking with engagement about the fight, which led to the 1995 law on tax exemption for vehicles 30 years or older, except for driving in the environmental zones since 2007, and the absence of any besiktningsplikt since 2017. He describes how the MHRF at two to three times a year sit down with the actor to give his views on what's in the framework which need to be addressed.

" What we really want to engage in is kulturarvsfrågorna, to preserve the technology that created these vehicles as well as the history of individual vehicles, the automotive industry and the cultural heritage environment. For this reason, MHRF started Swedish ^ archive whose purpose is to inventory, collect, preserve and present historical source material and make it available for research.

During the anniversary year, a range of events to mark the 50 years since the association was established in 1969, then led by the enthusiastic Björn-Eric Lindh. Hershey day, the culmination of the celebration, coincides with the national day on 6 June.
