Two Cantabrian authors are up for the XI Ciudad de Ubeda Historical Novel Prize. One Catalan author is also in the mix.

Now, the finalists for the 11th edition of the "Ciudad de Ubeda" Historical Novel Award are known.

Two Cantabrian authors are up for the XI Ciudad de Ubeda Historical Novel Prize. One Catalan author is also in the mix.

The jury will now choose the winner novel. It is made up of Inma Chacon and Espido Freire, as well as Carlos Alonso, director of Ediciones Pamies, and David Yague, both writers.

The jury's verdict will be announced during the month of July. The winner will be awarded a prize amounting to 20,000 euros. It will also be published in Ediciones Pamies' 'Historical" collection. The award will be delivered between October 5th and 9th, 2022. This coincides with the celebration of the "Ciudad de Ubeda" Historical Novel Contest.
