“Nazi bastard”: Emmanuel Macron insulted by a Russian channel after his comments on sending troops to Ukraine

The host of the Russian state channel Rossiya 1, Vladimir Soloviev, openly insulted Emmanuel Macron last Tuesday during a television program, BFM TV revealed this Friday. This outrageous statement came the day after the President of the Republic's press conference, in which he affirmed that the sending of Western troops to Ukraine cannot “be excluded”.

“Macron is of course a phenomenal moron,” Vladimir Soloviev first said on Russian television. “He’s completely lost his mind,” he continued, looking determinedly into the camera. Before addressing Emmanuel Macron directly: “Do you want to attack Russia? So choose a French city that you want to wipe off the map.

“You, Nazi bastard, heir to Pétain, do you think you can hit Russia with impunity? In this case you don’t understand anything about our country,” he continued in front of the other people present on the channel’s set. “You are not an heir of De Gaulle. You're not even worth half of De Gaulle. You’re just a stinking piece of shit,” he concluded with contempt.

Russian journalist and television presenter, Vladimir Soloviev is a face recognized as one of the main propagandists of Vladimir Putin's regime. His show on the public channel Rossiya 1, widely watched in Russia, places him center stage, allowing him to wage a sustained information war, particularly since the start of the war in Ukraine.

The host is already known for his violent anti-Western diatribes. On October 24, 2022, while Emmanuel Macron had criticized the links between the Russian Orthodox Church and the Kremlin during a meeting with Pope Francis, Soloviev had already described the French President as a “pathetic little Satanist and insignificant”, live on the air.
