Marmolejo's City Council publishes First Class didactic material that teaches the history of the municipality.

Yesterday, the new educational material was introduced that will be part of the curriculum at the San Julian Primary Education Centre of the municipality.

The booklet was created by Ana Diaz and Isa Barragan, two Marmolea teachers. It covers all subjects taught in Primary 3rd and 4. Manuel Lozano, Marmolejo's Mayor, stated that it was a great honor to be able present the booklet during the activities surrounding May 27, Marmolejo Day.

An Integrated Didactic Unit, which deals with Marmolejo Spa, has published 150 copies of the material. They are now available for school use. The first mayor of Marmolejo stated that there is no better way than two people who are passionate about Marmolejo, whether they're teachers or historians, to distill the essence of Marmolejo's history into a booklet.

The history of Marmolejo's Spa, a tourist gem, addresses topics such as social and natural sciences, math, vocabulary, spatial location, and other subjects. The Mayor stated that he will continue to work on the expansion of the project titled "I learn in Marmolejo, my school" so that all primary classes and classrooms can access the history of the municipality.

The Didactic Unit will allow students in the 3rd and fourth years of Primary to learn about the history of Marmolejo through educational outings organized by the educational centers. They can also use valuable material that is already on hand. You are free to use it. "The best way to instill passion in someone is to instill it in them. And what better way to do that than with a material organized and coordinated by two Marmolejo women who love their work and above all love their people," said Manuel Lozano.

Isa Barragan (one of the authors) also spoke at the presentation ceremony, thanking the Marmolejo Consistory. One of the authors said, "It has been a huge support. We were clear that our material was intended for people and who had the responsibility to manage it was City Council. That is how we wanted it,". This first installment of the teaching material covers the history and Marmolejo themes. Isa Barragan explained that the 3rd and fourth grade math problems can be solved with truckloads of Balneario bottle crates. You have to learn about the Balneario garden's illustrious characters, but you also need to get to understand Manolita with her innhouse.
