Man jumps out of window due to kitchen fire and dies

In Hamburg's Eidelstedt district, a 43-year-old died trying to save himself from a fire in his apartment. The man jumped from the sixth floor at around 8.30 a.m. after a fire broke out in his kitchen on Saturday morning, a spokesman for the Hamburg police said.
