On Saturday, the Taekwondo Festival was held at La Libertad de Huetor Vega's sports pavilion. This event introduced Taekwondo to all ages and provided a platform for everyone to learn. The initiative was organized by the Ruben Hita Taekwondo Club and the Department of Sports of Huetor Vega City Council.
The Hueteno club's great specialty, the "poomsae", was Zone 3. Here, athletes learned the techniques to achieve excellence in taekwondo. In Zone 4, there was a psychomotricity circuit that was designed for all ages. It combines taekwondo with physical strength.

After two hours of training, the athletes received a commemorative Tshirt from the Taekwondo Festival. They also enjoyed a full breakfast to replenish their strength.
The event was also made possible by inclusive sport. Ruben Hita says that the magic of training was in the promotion of inclusion, which saw nearly 150 athletes from different abilities come together. He thanks parents, assistants, and athletes for helping to celebrate the Taewkwondo Festival and the City Council for its efforts in collaboration and in promoting the values of such an important day. Since only registered participants were allowed to attend, the quota was full, the event was closed to the public.
