The word took over various spaces in the town during the ninth edition 'Ciudad de Ubeda’ International Poetry Meeting. This meeting was a great challenge as it allowed the group to regain its face-toface normality following the complex period of the pandemic. Ubeda Poetic Encounter' was the organizer of this cultural event. This World Heritage city became a hub for many poets and artists from different countries.

Around 65 people registered to participate in the various activities that were held between Friday and Sunday. They shared their poetry with the public in beautiful settings. Isabel Rezmo from Ubet was responsible for coordinating all activities. She coordinated everything from the beginning and put together an attractive program that included literary routes, recitals, conferences, and more.

These performances used the Renaissance city's iconic spaces as a stage for art and culture. Poetry was heard in the Palace of Don Luis de la Cueva and the Olivar y Aceite Interpretation Centre, as well as the Torreon del Portillo del Santo Cristo, and other squares and corners. This allowed poetry to spread across the streets and was made accessible to all during those three days.

The coordinator stressed that the response to this edition was phenomenal because, in addition to the national registrants and people continuing to come from other countries, such as Bolivia, Romania, Italy, North Africa, Romania, Italy, Romania, and the United States. She stated that the appointment "perfectly unites culture heritage, which makes the meeting an incentive to the participants."

This anthology published a book in which the work of an illustrious man was recovered for the back cover. Juan Pasquau Guerrero captured an article from 1954 in which he talks about Antonio Machado as well as the poets.
