Christmas lottery: Safety distance, tests, screens, masks, and screens

The Extraordinary Draw of Christmas Lottery 2020 will include a protocol for health security and preventive measures against covid-19. This protocol includes antigen testing, safety distance maintenance, screen and mask use, and other measures.

"It will have the highest draw security in its history and without any usual presence of public," stated the State Society of State Lotteries and Betting. It also recalled that the protocol was being developed by the Royal Theater and San Ildefonso Residence Internship of Madrid City Council.

These institutions have the objective of ensuring that the protocol aforementioned ensures the well being of the San Ildefonso Residents of Madrid City Council, of Lottery workers, and of media present on December 22 at the Royal Theater of Madrid in order to conduct the 2020 Christmas Lottery draw.

Lotteries has stated that, in this context, Lotteries has highlighted that "the strict security measures will be taken on stage" are the most important provisions. These include antigen testing for all workers and children who are present on the stage.

To ensure safety, the space between drums has been increased. The boys and girls will also wear masks on a compulsory basis. Only those who sing the prize balls or number will not be wearing a mask at their intervention.

According to SELAE, there will be a security screening for draw professionals. The presidential table will now have four members instead of the usual five.

The draw will take place this year without the public's attendance. Additionally, the media capacity will be reduced by half. For that reason, the audio and video signal as well as the photos will be free.
