The heating hysteria in Germany has been going on for almost three weeks now. Whether in the Bundestag, in the comment columns of the media, in the social networks or even in ÖRR talk shows: A whole nation is debating the details of the planned building energy law, which will determine the future of heating in German houses and apartments should regulate.
From January 1, 2024, at least 65 percent of every newly installed heating system should be operated on the basis of renewable energies. That would be the de facto end for oil and gas heating. It is remarkable that the topic has only now managed to make its way into the general public.
