CaixaBank reminds its customers to pay in monthly installments in both physical and online shops

Mobile payments are now a part of our everyday lives. It is a popular choice because of its speed and convenience. It was limited to payments made with the bank's debit card or with the credit card deferred.

CaixaBank's new iZZinow payment service allows customers to split their purchase payments at any time. It can be used at any store, online or offline, and some users have already access it through the CaixaBankNow App.

iZZinow is a 'Buy Now, Pay Later' service. It allows you to pay in installments for purchases in any store without having to become a member.

According to the bank, the goal of this service is for 100% of customers who have the 'MyCard card (reference card in this Bank) to be able to use it before the summer.

You can pay in installments before or after you purchase the iZZinow app. To split the payment, the user can simply open the app and access iZZinow. They will then be able to indicate the number of installments they would like to make before they pay. It's possible to do it in as little as two months, with no interest or commissions. You can also do it up to 12 months with interest.

You will then only need to pay the amount using your card as usual. This means that you can bring the card closer to the POS at the store or enter the data in e-commerce. The merchant will then receive the entire amount and the client will pay the installments according to the schedule.

If the user has made the purchase, they will have the option to divide it up. However, the process will be different. Select the operation you want from either the mobile app or the web page and click the button.

This service does not require the customer to share their data with any third parties as with other 'Buy Now Pay Later’ solutions. They have centralized in one place the card operations and financing options.

Splitting a payment is not an option until the transaction amount is charged to the customer's card. CaixaBank explained that sometimes the purchase is not charged immediately, as in online orders in international shops. This is because there is no way to activate an installment until the payment has been processed. iZZinow was created to facilitate your financing options.
