Churriana de la Vega's City Council has created the Good Student Card to recognize good students. It also offers the chance to enter the municipal swimming pool free of charge every Wednesday during summer months.
All students in Churriana can apply for this measure, regardless of whether they are studying in the municipality. They must meet one requirement: have all subjects passed. You can also request it with a failed subject provided the interested party takes a book from the library, and then does a job on it. It is then delivered to the Town Hall.
The good student card is not the only benefit. El Churrianero days are also available. All registered individuals who have reached the maximum capacity will be able to use the municipal pool for free on Monday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. To gain access to the pool, you will need to apply in advance and prove your registration.
These are not the only initiatives in Churriana de la Vega that students can take part in. This is evident in the IES Federico Garcia Lorca, where every student expelled from school for disciplinary reasons is required to visit a social place to help.
