Violent scenes in the european capital

A demonstration with thousands of albanians, who support the opposition in the country, has on Saturday led to big clashes in Albania's capital, Tirana.

This writes the news agency AP.

Demonstrators during Saturday's protests expressed their dissatisfaction with the government of Albania, which they call corrupt and inefficient.

They demand that the government go by, and that set of elections.

the Protesters threw flares and other objects at police and attempted to enter the socialist prime minister Edi rama's office.

They also destroyed hovedøren to the government department in the capital, and smashed a piece of art on the side of the building.

however, not for the demonstrators to enter the building.

Saturday's demonstration was organized by the centrumhøjrepartiet The Democratic Party.

the Party's leader, Lulzim Basha, had before the protests also called on the government to withdraw.

- We will need to get the restored democracy through a parliament that is elected by the people, and which are not selected by using money or threats from criminals, says the head of The Democratic Party.
