Tried to rob the family – fled empty-handed

"We'clock on Sunday morning, the doorbell rang at an apartment in the west of Borlänge. In the apartment were two parents and a teen and when they opened they were met by two masked robbers."

"– They should have threatened the father with what later turned out to be an air gun, and the mother with a knife, but no one is hurt, " says Stefan Dangardt, presstalesperson at the police."

"Just after the perpetrators forced their way into the apartment arose a tumult, in which the two offenders dropped the gun and left the apartment."

" They fled with their tail between their legs and empty handed from there, says the Dangart."

"A preliminary investigation of aggravated robbery has been opened but no one is arrested."

" It's not that unusual robbery in the area, but as we have talked with do not understand why you just called at the door. We don't know if it was an accident, if the perpetrators happened to go wrong or if there is a motive behind it."
