Three cities wins in court: to prohibit almost all diesel cars

Drivers in Paris, Madrid and Brussels may, within a foreseeable future be, affected by a very comprehensive dieselforbud.

The three cities have won the right to introduce a forureningsgrænse of just 80 mg of NOx by the EUROPEAN court of justice in Luxembourg. It is a significantly lower threshold than in cities such as Hamburg, Berlin and Stuttgart, who have introduced low emission zones with strict dieselkrav in the course of the year.

in Fact, it will only be possible for the very latest diesel cars to run into in Paris, Madrid and Brussels, if the authorities choose to go ahead with the pollution limit. For the cars must in that case be authorised in accordance with the latest euronorm, which entered into force in september of this year.

It is not yet determined whether the three storybyer will go on the rampant dieselforbud, as they now are in their good right to to introduce.
