The u.s. supreme court repeals the law against abortion in Louisiana

the UNITED states supreme court on Monday known a law on abortion from the state of Louisiana invalid.

The disputed law instructed the doctors restrictions that made it difficult for women in Louisiana to get an abortion.

But the supreme court has, with the votes 5-4 decision that the law is in violation of the right to abortion, as the court has held for years back.

The conservative chefdommer, John Roberts, voted with the four judges, which is considered as more liberal, in order to know the law unconstitutional.

the Law of Louisiana would, according to its critics to have closed virtually every abortklinik in the state, reports the tv station CNN.

Monday's decision is a victory for supporters of abortion. They had argued that the law was not necessary in a medical sense, and that it was a thinly veiled attempt to limit access to abortion.

In 2016, overruled the supreme court of a similar law from Texas.

- Louisiana's law puts an obstacle on access to abortion, which is just as serious as the Texas law instructed, " says John Roberts, according to CNN.
