The ministry of foreign affairs relaxes rules for traveling out of Europe

Ministry of foreign affairs is introducing on Thursday a new model for the travel advice for the countries outside of the european UNION, the Schengen area and the Uk.

It informs the Ministry of foreign affairs in a press release.

Rejsevejledningen will be relaxed for countries that meet the EU's new criteria for entry to the EU, and which at the same time do not have significant restrictions on the admission or karantænekrav for the travelers coming to the country.

An important element in the model will be the EU's new list of countries that meet specified Covid-19-criteria for entry to the EU.

to get on the list, the state must have a maximum of 16 new infections per 100,000 inhabitants. It corresponds to the average in the EU.

in addition to the number of new smittetilfælde there are a number of other parameters, which apply in relation to the list.

Countries have a decreasing or constant trend in the smittetilfælde, and if smittetrykket increases, can be closed, says justice minister Nick Hækkerup (S).

the EU list published on Tuesday and provides the possibility for tourists and business travellers from 14 countries for entry to the EU.

The current countries on the list are Algeria, Australia, Canada, Georgia, Japan, Montenegro, Morocco, New Zealand, Rwanda, Serbia, south Korea, Thailand, Tunisia and Uruguay.

From some of the countries required a prior visa application - from the other does not.
