The Liege and Brussels waffle was already there, now launches Otto the Bruges variant: Healthier, hipper and tastier

Brugge Katelijnestraat on Wednesday, an attraction richer. Otto Vlonk opens together with his son OTTO Waffle Workshop’, where the emphasis is on fresh, healthy and Bruges waffles. Even the shape – the typical structure of the world-famous Bruges lace, and refers to the "breydel" city. “We want to distinguish ourselves from the 84 other locations in the town where your a waffle can buy. With us, everything is different,” says Otto.

A Brussels and a Liege waffle for the average Flemish person is already long no longer a secret. If the Otto and son Tom on it, appeals to everyone soon, however, about the Bruges waffle. What that looks like and tastes like? That you can from Wednesday, taste in ‘OTTO Waffle Workshop " in the Katelijnestraat. “They are in the first place, a lot healthier than the average waffle that people know,” explains Tom. “So oats are an important ingredient and the butter is replaced by oil. But the waffles are especially on the spot and fully fresh. Frozen products are you going not find here.” Furthermore, the traditional sugar is replaced by a variant, which makes the waffle immediately a suit more attractive for, for example, diabetic patients. “It is and remains of course a waffle, but we have nevertheless tried to be as healthy possible variant to create.”
