Rock star death after accident

The british rockbassist Pete Way is death.

He died Friday of the injuries he sustained in an accident two months ago.

Metalsitet Blabbermouth brings the news.

The circumstances of the accident and the death is not disclosed. Pete Way was 69.

the Musician was a prominent figure in the field of hard rock and early heavy metal.

Pete Way was in 1969 to form the successful band UFO in London. He was a member of the group until 1982 and again from 1988 to 1989 and 1991 to 2008.

Also played bass player with, among many others, Ozzy Osbourne, Michael Schenker Group and his band Waysted.

Pete Way had big health problems in recent years. He was diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2013 and was struck by a heart attack three years later.

He did not hide that he through three decades had a severe drug addiction.
