Mueller, who now has completed his protracted investigation, has at 22 on Friday night Danish time, handed over the report to the minister of justice.

Here follows an abbreviated version of the letter, attorney general William Barr on Friday evening has sent to the heads of the legal affairs committee in the two chambers of Congress, the Senate and House of Representatives:
I am writing to inform you about ( ... ) that special prosecutor Robert S. Mueller III has completed its investigation of Russian interference in the elections in 2016, and related cases.
the Rules of the special prosecutor, requires that I, as a supplement to local information gives you "a description and explanation of the events - if any - where the minister of justice" or the acting minister of justice "has concluded that an action proposed by the special prosecutor, has been so inappropriate or unnecessary in accordance with the ministry's existing practice, that it should not be implemented".
There has not been this kind of incidents during the special prosecutor's investigation.
The special prosecutor has today handed me a "confidential report that explains the decisions relating to the prosecution or the delimitation", he has taken (...).
I will be reviewing the report and waiting for, that I as soon as this weekend will be able to inform you about the special prosecutor's conclusions.
I also intend to consult vicejustitsminister Rosenstein and special prosecutor Mueller to determine what other information from the report, there can be released to Congress and the public within the framework of the law, including the rules of the special prosecutor and the department's established practice and policy.
