Louis Buytaert, the man who is ‘the house’ of Gert and Samson built: Masses of covers in to the ‘voice of Samson’ to hide

Dendermonde Gert Verhulst may have to say goodbye to his Samson, for the family Buytaert from Dendermonde, the duo has indelible memories. For father Louis was an honour for the children, the backdrop to may build, that thirty years of service did. Sons, Bram and Jeroen got the taste for yourself the creative world.

Thirty years crept Gert Verhulst in the skin of “Gertje” in the movie “Samson and Gert”. Exactly the same a long time ago is that Louis Buytaert (59) from Dendermonde in the battle went to the stage for the pictures of them in boxing. “I knew Danny Verbiest, who is the hand puppet of Samson to life brought, of are: absolutely Chameleon,” says Buytaert. “This was Danny, the very young, Gert Verhulst and Hans Bourlon contact me. in Addition, was the setting for Samson and Gert to make one of the biggest challenges facing Buytaert ever stood for. “Everywhere there had to be shuttered,” he says. “Danny Verbiest had, after all, under the setting, and then through a hatch with Samson's work. The decor was eventually built and tested in the garden of Buytaert. “The ceilings in my house were not high enough,” recalls Buytaert. “On of the nerves I was, because I knew that Danny and Gert the bar high and laid, and I wanted to be sure to comply with. They appeared to be satisfied, and then was the scene in the recording studio built. There, I attended the very first recordings to see if adjustments were needed.
