Löfven ready to continue as prime minister

Socialdemokraternas leader Löfven met Wish talmann Wednesday. He gave then the information that he is ready to again be nominated for the prime minister and be approved in a vote Friday.

Vänsterpartiet, which have been skeptical because Löfvens new regjeringsprosjekt including the bourgeois parties Liberalerna and Centerpartiet, to confirm Wednesday morning that they will not vote against Löfven.

Vänsterns leader Jonas Sjöstedt says he has received assurances from Löfven about the fact that the party is going to get political influence. It in spite of that they are not a part of the government, as well as that the bourgeois regjeringspartnerne has requested that the Vänstern not have an impact.

- Clause that V shall not get influence, is now in practice irrelevant. We are going to have an impact in the election period, " said Sjöstedt at a press conference after his meeting with talmannen.

He makes it clear that he will overthrow the new government if Löfven violating the agreement between the Socialdemokraterna and Vänsterpartiet from the previous government about the de-regulation of the housing market and the working environment.

Socialdemokraterna, the Greens, Liberalerna and Centern was at the weekend agreed to a blokkoverskridende political agreement that can form the basis for a Löfven-led government. The four parties have no majority in the Reichstag, and is thus dependent on the Vänsterpartiets support.

The political situation in Sweden has been deadlock since the election 9. september of last year. None of the blocks had a majority, and none of them will cooperate with høyrepopulistiske Sverigedemokraterna, which was the third largest party.

Both Löfven and Moderaternas chairman Ulf Kristersson has previously been voted down as statsministerkandidater.
