History of the Easter marches: March for peace

sometimes there are more sometimes there are less demonstrators, but the Tradition of the Easter marches is unbroken. It all started 60 years ago in the UK.

the origin of The Easter March movement is in the UK. Nuclear weapons opponents March 1958 from London to the nuclear research centre at Aldermaston.

In West Germany, in 1960, for the first Easter March. Pacifist groups run for three days from Bremen, Hanover, Braunschweig and Hamburg to the NATO military training area in the lower Saxony town of Bergen. From then on, the movement year is growing for the year.
