The break came Saturday night in the middendijk between the leopold canal and the horizontal current Schipdonkkanaal, also known under the names of “Blinker” and “Stinker”. foxes cause?About the cause of the dijkbreuk, is as yet no clarity. Periodic checksThe Flemish Waterway does not yet ruled on the cause. “That is examined, though we dare not say we ever had a concrete reason will discover,” says Stinissen. “Our priority is now being given to strengthening the stability of landszijde.
