Compared to the previous week, there was a sharp decline of 19 percent.

The 7-day incidence is falling in 13 of the 16 federal states, the three exceptions being Hamburg, Lower Saxony and Rhineland-Palatinate.

In the previous week comparison, all federal states are still in the red.

The 7-day average of new corona cases drops to 26,647.

This is the lowest value this year.

Most recently, the 7-day moving average was below 27,000 on December 30, 2021.
