Earlier this month announced NASA that the American astronautes Christina Koch (40), and Anne McClain (39) on Friday, 29 march a female spacewalk would make: a scoop and it's not just for the pleasure. The two women would join the International Space station (ISS) to leave a set of batteries from solar panels to replace. Two birds in one stone. the
McClain and Koch would besides be assisted by yet a third wife: Kristen Facciol. Facciol would from the Johnson Space Center in Houston (Texas) are in contact with the two floating ladies in the room to make them that way to guide.
Today, ten days after the exciting announcement, there is a damper on the revelry. In a press release explains NASA that the two women on the space station impossible, together, can leave. The available space suits are - with just one, size medium, a large and extra large - simply too big for the two women.
Both Koch as McClain would be a medium in space, and must wear, the only available M is this Friday, reserved for Koch. This is McClain her walk (with a week) postponed to 8 april. Her spacewalk will not continue with Koch, but the –male - Canadian astronaut David Saint-Jacques.
