But CES is also home to the particular portable computers. This year, however, most with a focus on improvements of the already well-known formats and without the really big revolutions.
New Chromebooks from HP and Acer
Along with Acer HP is the first in the world to build a AMD processor in a Chromebook. It is usually Intel or ARM processors, which dominated these cheap and quite popular portable.
the Advantage of AMD processor is that it is good to save power and in some versions is quicker than the processors in this category.
At HP called the news Chromebook 14 and has a AMD A4 and A6 processors, integrated Radeon R4/R5 graphics and two speakers with sound from the Danish B&O. the Display is, as the name suggests, on the 14 inch.
With Acer's called the model Chromebook 315 and also have the AMD A4 and A6 processors. The display is here of 15.6 inch.
Expect prices from under 3000 dollars and launch in the spring.

HP also stands behind a refined Chromebook called HP Chromebook x360 14 G1, which has an improved 14-inch display, metaldesign and uses Intel's i7 processor.

Lenovo has several times in recent years hit the spot with its Yoga series. Therefore, there was of course CES news with Yoga S940 and Yoga C730.
Yoga S940 is an ultra thin and very lightweight computer, that is anything but thin and light, when it comes to other specifications.
The 13,9-inch model uses 8. generation of Intel's Core i7 can have up to 16 gigabytes of RAM and 1 terabytes of internal storage.
the Computer has between almost 10 hours, and up to 15 hours of battery life, that depends on whether you use the model with the Full HD or 4K display. The latter uses the most power.
An interesting feature is that the Yoga S940 can track the eyes of the user and automatically lock the computer down, if you go away from it.
It uses the same technology to warn if other - perhaps undesirable - looking on the screen.

Yoga C730 is a 15.6-inch 4K laptop that works as 2-in-1 computer. So with the possibility to use in both tablet and laptop mode.
the Device has a little weaker muscles than S940, and inferior battery life, but offers to turn on both the touch and the AMOLED screen.

Dell Latitude 7400 is closest to a combination of the two news from Lenovo.
It is both a 2-in-1 computer and has built-in advanced technology that can spot the user and lightning fast, activate face detection that locks the device up.
As with Yoga S940 locks the computer also himself down, when the owner of the computer is away. It saves battery and provides a higher security.
Latitude 7400 has a 14-inch 16:9 FHD 1920 x 1080 pixels display, up to 16 gigabytes of RAM and up to 1 TB of storage.
Dell XPS 13. Pr photo
The other news from Dell at CES was an update of the XPS 13.
Here bet on a very tight design, where the 13-inch display is almost out to the edges on the whole surface thanks to a very small built-in webcam.
the Display can be either Full HD or 4K, and the device keep the flow up to 21 hours, inform the Dell.
