Top 14: “We are doing very well”, admits Chavancy (Racing)

Henry Chavancy (center of Racing 92, after the 31-28 victory against Bordeaux-Bègles): “We are doing very well. We had started this match quite badly, we had trouble putting our game in place, we were falling back on all the impacts... and that was reflected in the score. At the break, we said that we had to react otherwise we were going to have regrets. What we did. It was a very close, very bitter duel. We emerge victorious after the siren, we are aware that we are a little lucky. We are satisfied because we have not given up. It was a crucial match in view of the qualification.

Laurent Travers: “We are non-existent in the first half, we give them the opportunity to come to our camp. At no time do we bring danger, we are caught on the impacts, we are put at fault... We showed something else in the second period, especially in terms of play: we put them in difficulty, even if we was not advancing. There was a realization at half-time about our non-match. If there was no action in the first period, there was reaction in the second. I prefer to see the last forty minutes than the first forty. We must continue like this, otherwise we will not have a ticket for the six.
