Rémi Picquette (second row of La Rochelle, winner of Clermont): “This victory is good for the head. We got back to work so it felt good to translate into a match what we produced in training. It's good that it pays off. I think we put other ingredients in than the previous matches, will, contacts, that's where it also changes. We attacked the match well so we tried things behind. In terms of confidence, this success is good and confirms our game. In the second half, sometimes, we fell back into our mistakes and we gave Clermont opportunities to attack, but our defense was well in place. It was important to prove what we could do, even without our managers. We are sometimes considered a second or even C team, so it was important to show what we are capable of. We told ourselves that we had to attack hard and that this match was going to be decisive in order to know which way we were going to look. But, we will not have to rest on this improved victory to welcome Stade Français.
