The National Rugby League (LNR) has delivered its verdict: the third line and Argentinian international Marcos Kremer is suspended for 5 weeks for "dangerous play in the context of a ruck or a maul" during the Stade Français-Racing match 92. He had received a red card after the action in question.
The NRL statement read: “After taking into account the aggravating circumstance (disciplinary record), the sanction was increased by two weeks. After taking into account the mitigating circumstances (admission of guilt, conduct before and during the hearing and expression of remorse), the sanction was reduced by three weeks.
In total, Kremer is suspended for 5 weeks. The player, who is no longer under contract with his Parisian club, will evolve under the colors of Clermont for the coming season.
