Sinner, 22, who returned to the circuit in the Netherlands after his triumph at the Australian Open, remains undefeated this year, and displaces Russian Daniil Medvedev, who had not left the Top 3, in the rankings since April 2023.

Beaten in the semi-final in Buenos Aires, the Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz, still No.2, is losing ground on world No.1 Novak Djokovic, who is now ahead of him by 750 points. The Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas, 25, 11th after losing one place, leaves the Top 10 of the ranking for the first time since February 2019.

Defeated in the final in Rotterdam by Sinner, the Australian Alex de Minaur, 25, also obtained this week the best ranking of his career, in ninth place, up two places. This is also the case for Kazakh Alexander Bublik, 21st after also gaining two places. On the French side, Ugo Humbert remains the French No.1 at 18th place in the world while Adrian Mannarino moves down one place, to 20th position.
