After Harold Mayot a few hours earlier, Alexandre Muller is the second Frenchman to win, in the first round of the Barcelona tournament. He defeated veteran Albert Ramos-Vinolas (108th in the world) in two sets (7-6 (4), 6-0).
The second round will not be of the same level, since the Frenchman will challenge the last finalist from Monte-Carlo, Casper Ruud. The Norwegian holds his place despite his defeat last Sunday. The meeting is scheduled for Wednesday.
