AC Milan striker Luka Jovic was suspended for two matches on Tuesday for hitting an opponent during his team's defeat against Monza (4-2) on Sunday.
Jovic pushed defender Armando Izzo away with a slap, earning him a straight red card, with his team trailing 2-0. The Serb will miss the reception at Atalanta Bergamo on Sunday and the trip to Lazio on March 1.
Jovic, 26, has scored seven goals this season with the Rossoneri, currently third in Serie A and in a good position in the Europa League, after their 3-0 victory against Rennes in the first leg of the play-off.
