Rugby: Death of Cédric Rosalen, former Narbonne and Perpignan player

The rugby world is in shock. Cédric Rosalen, former Narbonne and USAP player, died at the age of 43, announced L'Indépendant. A brutal death for this great trail enthusiast. After training Gruissan, he was the current head coach of the Corbières XV club, in Regional 1, since 2022. A team that he led to the title in Regional 2 last season.

Arriving as a cadet at the RCN in 1999, the fly-half then joined the first team until 2007. He then left to play a season in Perpignan, then join Montauban and, finally, end his career in Carcassonne in 2011 .

Cédric Rosalen, finalist for the European Shield in 2001, finished best director in the Top 14 during the 2005-2006 season. Until 2021, he held the record for points scored by a player in a championship match (32 points).

To his family and loved ones, Le Figaro presents its most sincere condolences.
