It would not be surprising seeing the photo captioned by this sentence. The French striker of Real Madrid gave an overview of the state of his right foot, almost a week after a victory against Rayo Vallecano on Wednesday May 24 (2-1).

According to his historical adviser Karim Djaziri, Benzema suffered a gash in his right foot after being stepped on at the start of the match. The images published by Djaziri on Twitter in the wake of the meeting are eloquent. That did not prevent the Madrid captain from scoring and playing the entire game.
