Mercato market: the Emegha nugget makes a long-term commitment to Strasbourg

Dutch striker Emanuel Emegha has signed up with Strasbourg for the next five seasons, until 2028, we learned on Saturday evening on the Ligue 1 club's website.

Emmanuel Emegha, 20, was in the sights of Tottenham and AC Milan but it was the Alsatian club, which spent this summer under the American flag with the BlueCo consortium, also owner of Chelsea, who won the bet for an amount of 12 million euros.

“At the attack level, we were looking to invest in a promising young player, with great qualities. Emanuel is a boy we knew and who had already made a strong impression on us. We are very happy to welcome him to Racing,” said President Marc Keller.

The Dutch international U20 (1m95) scored 9 goals and provided an assist last season with the Austrian club Sturm Graz, where he discovered the Europa League, a competition in which he scored 1 goal in 5 matches.
